The company was known for their Boeing Stearman variants, which became their signature products. Important Note: Golden Age Simulations announced in early 2025 that they would cease operations effective June 30, 2025. While existing customers can still access their purchase history through vendors like Just Flight, SimMarket, and the Microsoft Marketplace, no new sales are being made.
History
Golden Age Simulations was founded around 2005, making it one of the longer-running flight simulation development studios. The company focused exclusively on vintage and classic aircraft, building expertise in recreating the look, feel, and flight characteristics of aircraft from aviation’s formative years.
Throughout their history, GAS partnered with major flight simulation retailers to distribute their products, including Just Flight and SimMarket. Their products were also available through the Microsoft Marketplace.
After nearly two decades of serving the flight simulation community, GAS announced their closure in 2025, thanking customers for their years of support and collaboration.
